Creating first-person narrative content is my favorite way to tell a story. I was fortunate to create Instagram TV vlogs for Clemson University during my time as a social media intern, and recently had the opportunity to work with both McLaren Automotive and Mr. Coffee on branded pieces for their Instagram stories.
Fall of 2018 saw the pioneering of a new content form on the Clemson University social media channels, vlogging. Every football game, Carly and I had the opportunity to tell the story of the team in first-person, and I created this video to recap the season and announce the 2018 national championship football team.
Following the completion of my summer internship with Newell Brands, the Mr. Coffee social media team reached out to me for an Instagram Story that detailed how I used my automatic bean grinder every morning. This piece inspired me to take on a new theme for my creation: make the mundane look irresistible.
McLaren Automotive visited Clemson University in a partnership with the Erwin Center for Brand Communications to develop a new brand marketing strategy for the 570s model. Working with both Clemson University and McLaren Automotive’s marketing teams, I created this piece to detail the undergraduate research happening at the University that would tremendously benefit a world-renowned brand like McLaren.
